IT Beers: Fostering a community where the only networking is social, the only packets are food, and the only code is 'cheers!’

Founded by Dan Laughlin and Steve Sims, our group started with a simple idea: connect the local IT community in a relaxed, welcoming setting. What began as casual conversations over a pint has grown into a thriving network of professionals who share knowledge, experience, and opportunities.

We believe that great ideas don’t just happen in boardrooms—they happen when people connect. Our mission is to build relationships, spark collaboration, and strengthen the IT community through open discussion and shared experiences.

Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or just moved to the area for work, we’re here to help you find your people, learn from one another, and get plugged into the local scene.

So grab a drink, pull up a chair, and join the conversation.
